Children’s Museum of Southern MN
I had the unique opportunity to partner with the Children's Museum of Southern Minnesota at the same time they were building their permanent home in Mankato. I worked on the all aspects of the visual look for the museum over a year period helping with their logo, environmental signage, murals, and way-finding. This unique children's museum wanted a look that was child friendly but did not pander.

The museum has a two level maker/engineering space, "Cecil’s Imagineering Loft provides a variety of tools and materials for hands-on play and learning: it is the gateway into the exciting world of STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math, just right for adolescents and grown-ups." This space was sponsored by the family of Cecil Jones a local inventor. I combined original graphics, photos of Cecil Jones, and sketches from his notebooks to create this large mural to welcome guests into the space.
