Project Passion
To create the large graphic letter P for each poster. All four organizers created their own letterform that could be split into modular sections. These sections were then remixed to create unique layered letterforms.
Project Passion is a juried exhibition featuring the self-initiated work of graphic designers. The event is organized by the design faculty at Minnesota State University, Mankato and is sponsored by AIGA Minnesota.
For Project Passion’s second year, Bradley Coulter, David Rogers, Matt Willemsen, and I collaborated to create these promotional posters to promote the show and highlight our theme, typography and lettering.
The call for entries poster explored the idea of modularity—much like how type is a modular system. For the mailer this resulted in two nested booklets that can each be unfolded into a stand-alone poster.

The inside booklet is printed on tracing paper. The contents are only readable when folded.
When unfolded, the message is scattered throughout the page.
